To Mr. Abul Kasem,
When does sexual orgy has become mainstream phenomenon in Hinduism? I
strongly disagree/dispute with your source of quotations of Vedas.
My understanding is 99% of all Hindus in the world have never seen
Veda in Sanskrit. If you have a copy please attach them in original
Sanskrit along with your reply for the specific quotations. By the
way have you seen those in any traditional Hindu family/society?
There are a lot of symbolism in Hinduism. You accuse-you prove
(scripture alongwith historicity of such events being taken place at
large scale and those elements are present in mainstream Hindu
society even today and a widespread practice)-you win-I accept
Hinduism to be wrong. You can't prove-I win-you give your thumbs up
for Hinduism. The customs(good and bad) in Hindu society evolved as
and when necessary along with excesses and there always were
reformers with a huge amount of success against the bad practices. To
term this whole indigenous religion and way of life to be wrong is a
gross mistake. Freethinkers will come and go-religion starts at the
border of intellect/sense world and spirituality. Forget all the
scriptures;a spiritual life with minimalist intake from the material
world is the way to go today. The best products of Hindus are Sanyasi
which Hinduism provided with a huge amount from time immemorial-who
don't have any desire and ego. Only such persons with such state of
mind can experience God and do some true work for Humankind. The
statement I am the God himself if I shed my desire and ego is
blasphemous in lot of religions not in Hinduism. So, whoever dons a
suit is civilized and whoever walks naked is barbarian. Recent saga
of Shankaracharya is the best example and we will keep on supplying
such human beings.
