We have learnt with alarm and anxiety of the car accident in which the eminent
writer and human rights activist, Mr Shahriar Kabir, suffered a serious fracture
in his leg and some of his friends were injured grievously. That he has been
brought to Dhaka (from Rangpur) makes us feel assured that he would now get
quality treatment and the very best care towards his complete healing.
We pray and wish him speedy recovery and full restoration to enable him function
physically and professionally very soon.
