All fundamentalists are monochromatic, and have the same character, whether they follow Islam or Sanatanism or Judaism or Christianity. It does not matter. There is no distinction between an RSS leader and a Jamat leader, or between Ayatullah Khameni and Adhvani. Here is an instance of atrocity committed by Hindu fundamentalists in Orissa (India) recently. The place of occurrence is a remote village Nahnaga near Fringia Block (a small town) in the district of Phulbani. The day was a day of Hindu festival Rakhi-Bandhan, a festival of brotherly & sisterly union among the fellow religionists, men and women. Hindus claim that this is a secular festival having no bounds of caste, creed, sex and religion. If a boy, whatever his caste or religion is, ties a thread on the wrist of a girl of whatever religion or caste, the boy becomes her brother. Ideally the boy is morally, ethically promised bound to save and protect the honour of the girl at any cost as he will do for his own sister. It is said that a Rajput girl during a battle between the Mughals and Rajputs, managed to tie somehow such a thread on the wrist of Emperor Akbar. Since then she became a sister of the Emperor, and Akbar did for the girl whatever were expected of him to do as her own brother.

But on such a serene & holy day, a group of Hindu miscreants in collusion with some villagers brutally manhandled the father of the Sir Salanda Church. It was reported that the Father on the Rakhi-Bandhan day, Friday, 3^rd August went to the said village to distribute clothing and medicine among the poor and destitute. The Father's condition is very critical and fighting for his life. Oh Jesus they don't know what they have done !. These miscreants also manhandled the accompanying persons of the Father and forcibly driven them out of the village. They pushed down the ambulance of the father onto a ditch before they committed atrocities on to the humanist Father. A case has been filed against the miscreants, but no body yet has been arrested (as usual).

It may be recalled that such events of atrocities against the religious minorities by the Sanatanists have been taking place in the said area for the last couple of years. About two years ago, we still remember with horror, on the day of Swaraswati Puja ( worshiping of goddess of learning ) the Australian missionary Graham Stuart Staines and his two minor sons were burnt to death. This horrible incident took place in the village Monoharpur in the district of Keonjhar. In the same year, on the day of Rakhi-bandhan a Muslim cloth-merchant of village Pariabera in the district of Mayurbhanj was brutally killed. Again in the same year on the day of Janmasthami ( the birthday of Lord Krishna, the God incarnation ) a group of Hindu fanatics killed Catholic father Arul Doss.

Interesting observations are, all these heinous crimes are being committed on the special religious days. Does it not point something ? But who are those culprits - are they few individual lunatics. Surely not. Hindu fanatic religious societies or Associations must have done these crimes. There is no doubt about it. But neither the Orissa Government nor the Central Government of India is dealing these religio-socio-political organizations firmly. The investigation conducted by the CBI obviously pointed to such organizations like Viswa Hindu Parisat ( World Hindu Federation), Bajrang and Shivasenas etc. However one Dara Sing was arrested for brutally burning to death the Australian father and his two sons. No other culprit(s) has been arrested or brought to justice. Such is the week law enforcing agency and judicial system in India. But sufferings of innocent humanities continue unabated. Where is the Jesus, where is the Prophet Muhammad or where is the Lord Krishna to save us. I wonder !
