MUGMATES are a closely-knit group of friends who grew up together in the town of Baao, Camarines Sur, Philippines. In the sixties, they played basketball as a team and won several championships. They enjoyed other forms of recreation too: biking, hiking, mountain climbing, singing, dancing, etc. Now living in various parts of the country as well as abroad, they maintain their frienship and support for one another through occasional informal gatherings ("reunions") and exhanges of text messages and emails.
