Welcome to the central intelligence (or lack thereof) message board for the English-speaking MTB community in and around Seoul Korea. MTBK is an autonomous anarcho-syndicalist collective. WE ARE NOT A CLUB. No rules, no officers, no dues. Besides, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
This MTBK site was originally set up in 2001 by the Filthy Three: Stiff, Kiwi Bee and Jeffro (may they rest in pieces). Jerry became site administrator in early 2005 and it's been going downhill ever since.
LAST RIDE: 10 May BBQ at the fire roads. 18 (I think) participants. Multiple groups and multiple loops. No significant mechanicals. Still waiting to hear how Dong Hee's arm is after her big crash. Paul-let us know please.
NEXT RIDES: 17 May at Surisan. Departing from McDonald's in Itaewon at 8:00 am, or meet at the mountain top at 10:00 am. Please sign up on the database by Thursday night if you are planning to participate.
UPCOMING EVENTS: NO OD Marathon CANCELLED!
