For those interested in finding wild mushrooms in one of our driest states.

Here we are again ready for another season of mushoom hunting. We've had a lot of snow in the mountains, a lot of which is still up there. Unfortunately we've not had our expected amount of rainfall the last month or so. The last few weeks have been very reminiscent of last year at this time, cold with very little rain.
Nevertheless, we are planning our first foray for May 3rd and we will hope for the best (or worst) weather between now and then. We will meet at the Park & Ride lot on 39th South between I-215 and Wasatch Blvd. at 9:00 AM. Hope to see you there.
Following this foray we will meet the first Saturday of each month thru September, same time, same place.
