The Dc Anime Club and Anime FX have teamed up to host the End of the
Year Cosplay Party in DC. Here are the details (copied from the
email):

Event: DC Anime Club and AnimeFX Cosplay Party

Date: December 03, 2005

Time: 12pm - 7pm

Cost: $10 Admission Fee

Details:

Both the DC Anime Club and Anime FX will be hosting our first
Fundraiser event "End of the Year Cosplay Party". There will be a $10
admission fee, but will include the following:

Anime Viewing
Video Gaming
20% Discount off all purchases at Anime FX

There will also be a Video Game Tournament and a Cosplay Contest,
each costing $5 to enter.

Anime Unlimited was formed after we realized that there were a lot of
anime fans here on our campus. So we formed the club with the purpose
to unite all anime fans and to introduce them to other parts of the
Japanese culture. Anime, as you should know, is the term used for
Japanese animation.

I have a question: are any of you guys going to the cosplay party? are
any of you even in to that? i ask because i was considering going cuz
im bored out of my mind and there's nothing better to do. the only
thing is ive never done any of that before and if i decide to go it
would be cool to see a familiar face. and another thing, everyone
should look at the files for the mascot entries cuz theres a reaaly
good drawing labeled concept1 that i think should be our mascot.

So, we have three candidates for the position of Vice-President. Thus
far, we have William Jackson, Peniel Powell, and Marlon Copeland. Any
other people expressing interest in the position, please post to the

All current e-board members, there is a meeting that needs to be
scheduled within the next couple of weeks. There are major changes
that need to be made to the constitution and other matters that need
to be attended to. Everyone, please respond to this and give me what
times you would be available to go over these matters. Thank you much!

I know it's early, but I want everyone to start thinking about whether
or not you will be Otakon this year. This year's convention will be
held on the weekend of August 4-August 6 at the Baltimore Convention
Center (which is downtown to those of you who are not from Baltimore).
The group rate for early birds is $35. Pre-registration probably won't
start until the end of March/beginning of April, so everyone has
plenty of time to save up. As more info comes, I will be posting it to
the group, so keep an eye out. :)

Hey, everyone. I realize that last semester was pretty bad, so I was
wondering what everyone would like to see happen this semester. Any
suggestions are welcome, and no, I'm not gonna be a dictator this
semester like I know some of yall thought of me. This club is about
the members, and I want all of you to be involved, and not have the
