Welcome! This group has been created as a part of the effort to build up the Mroueh family tree by taking direct updates from the Web and interviews with family in Lebanon and abroad.

This project first started the www.mroueh.com web site and its been great to have so many people write in with their stories and updates.

While we were originally on MSN Groups, since early 2005, we have had to move to Yahoo!Groups as Microsoft decided to close down MSN. The aim of the group is so that it would become easier for family members to be able to view the Family Tree Database as well as locate and find one another.

Please note that this is a private group which means that I will only allow members of the family to join - when you send your request to join, please provide your full proper name and where you come from and live. It would also be of great help to the project if you also go to http://www.mroueh.com/genealogy.htm and fill in your details so that you can be added to the family tree database.

Finally, we hope this group will help people connect with one another and bond our family, through its hundreds of branches and global distribtion!
