This is NOT intended to be a discussion of whether or not an alternate location should be found, but how an alternate location might be found. Discussion of whether or not to find an alternate location is off topic.

This is also not meant to be a statement regarding the behavior and attitude of the owners and staff of Coopers lake and any such discussion would be inappropriate. It should be noted that a discussion of any shortcomings of the SITE are appropriate.

The intent of this list is to find acceptable sites in which to hold the Pennsic war now and in the future, whether by virtue of natural disaster, political upheaval, or a simple desire for a new location. Should this be successful, it might be expected that the alternate site would be used every few years.

The list is not moderated, but new members signing on will be moderated for approximately two weeks. Please take that time to peruse the archives.

Attachments are not allowed on the list, but there is a file area, so upload the file and reference it so that members may or may not access the file as they see fit.

In the event of the misbehavior of an individual list member, or a general flame war, moderation on some level may be temporarily instated.
