Mountmellick embroidery, or Mountmellick work, is a type of embroidery originating from the town of Mountmellick, Ireland in the early 1800s. It is white on white, highly textured and usually floral in design. This is a group for anyone interested in discussing the technique of Mountmellick embroidery.
