Motown Writers Network was created in 2000 to educate, network, and market writers on and off the Internet. With over 300 members, MWN has grown on the Internet as one of the Largest Michigan Online organizations.

Currently, MWN has several projects in the works. Not only does the group have an online discussion group called Detroit Writers Galore, but in November of 2004, MWN with the support of Too Sexy For You Writers Group (based in Detroit), it will have its first Essence of Motown Writers Conference.

As we are expanding over the Internet to make ourselves known to Michigan writers who were born here and live here, we have joined with Yahoo to create a site and start a discussion.
