This September, a very special numerical sequence will occur on the second
Wednesday of the month:

The date will be 09/09/09.

  For those who would like to mark the day, we will meet at Watts Bay to sail in
the early twilight hours, then adjourn to Perkins Restaurant in Cranberry to
synchronize our watches at 9:09 PM and enjoy coffee and dessert and some
nautical talk.  We'll plan to meet at Watts Bay at 6PM, rig and launch some
boats (how many depends on your participation!), sail until the sun begins to
set, then return to harbor, haul the boats out and put them away and convoy to
