Whew!  Breaking out of my Mars retrograde induced lethargy and apathy has been quite the challenge!  But, hey, more about that in a moment.

 

So, we are now in the AQUARIAN Cycle of the year…having just passed the New Moon in Aquarius last weekend.  Sure enough, just hours before that event, my computer, [*electronics and technology being Aquarian tools], ate up my Music Files.  They are still on my computer, but my itunes program is pretending that they are not, so the SILENCE in my life has been deafening!  A wake up call to the vulnerability of putting your music collection all on your computer….  I vote/recommend to KEEP your ORIGINAL CD's!  As you never know when technology may burp and eat it all away, just like that.  I have an appointment to get this resolved tomorrow….. but I must say, it sent me spiraling into the depressed doldrums, let me tell you.  That alongside what had been the upcoming (now HERE) Mars retrograde really made it difficult to keep my emotions up, let me tell you.  Alas, my HUMANNESS is showing…

 

These are pieces of Aquarius.  Technology, electricity and the inventions that bring them together, making us live what could be conceived as Revolutionary Future Vision, in the present moment.  The INTERNET is an Amazing Example of an Aquarian Tool, a scientific function having the effect of bringing HUMANITY together as ONE.  Often ahead of its time, Aquarian idealism marches to the beat of its own drum along the way.  The SUN will remain in Aquarius thru February 19^th, so reach for the Stars and TOUCH the WORLD during this time.  In addition, just midday today [27Jan-13Feb], Mercury entered this sign as well, so EXPAND your Thinking, Open your Mind and Grow!  Use your electronic gadgets, the internet and your personal connection to The Revolution at hand to your advantage.  Aquarius uses its genius to draw from "The Bigger Picture".  Consider manifesting your Wildest dreams possible and make expectations to simply live them out.

 

OK, now back to the Mars Retrograde.  First of all, put your weapons down, least you accidently hurt yourself in the process.  Mars is the planet of ENERGY, MOTION as well as the symbolic representation of "The Lord of WAR".  It is our "Get up and GO!"  It is our Will to Action and Fight!  When this planet turns retrograde, it is as if motion stops in its tracks.  Lethargy ensues, we spin our wheels and perchance any retributionary functioning plans that we have can lash back at us and only hurt ourselves in the process.  Retrograde is the act of going INWARD rather than OUTWARD, or BACKWARDS rather than FORWARD.  Expect to have moments of mourning for your past, but do not succumb to it.  Expect to look over your shoulder and while looking behind, you run into what is in front of you.  Whoops.  This cycle lasts for awhile, so don't hold your breath, just simply KNOW that you will have more Energized Motion once it is through.  [23January – 13April]  Will we be lethargic the entire time?  No.  We may use our energy to Run in place, so to speak.  Energy is occurring, yet you are not going anywhere.  Be cautious as well that any Fight that comes out of you, very well may only serve to slap you in your own face.  Kind of like casting a fishing line and the hook snagging your ear on the way thru the air.  You may find yourself Eating your Words with impulsive eruptions of language as well.  The best advice is to Be CENTERED before you ACT, rather than being Impulsively Reactive.  Breathe.  Count to ten, then and only then, speak your mind.  This particular cycle of Mars Retrograde is in the sign of Virgo.  Be aware of your HEALTH during this time.  Or, looking at it in a different way, perhaps now is the perfect time to FOCUS On your health!  With retrograde, it is easier to Let Go of what you had been doing, than to necessarily start something new, so how can you apply that to your life?  This is the perfect time to change your habits…. So slow down on Self Destructive things and begin the process of implementing the Good Stuff.  Drink less soda or alcohol.  Eat less junk food.  Smoke fewer cigarettes… that sort of thing.  Be kind to your body, it is your closest and most powerfully effective tool.

 

What do we have to look forward to otherwise?  Coming right up in early February is the transit of Neptune into its Native Sign of Pisces.  This is a LONG TERM shift.  Neptune rules our psyche, psychic, psychological selves.  It is mystical, subtle, dreamy and at times beyond rational explanation.  You have to shut off your brain and go with your gut sometimes….  Trust your intuitive forces as surely they will strengthen over the course of the next 13 years.  The Mystical symbol for Neptune is that of being "KING of the SEA" so watch for OCEAN KARMA to become more prevalent.  Perhaps an increase in interactions where the land meets the sea.  Tsunamis?  Perhaps.  Coastal shift or erosion?  Possible….  Neptune is akin to Christ Consciouness or what I refer to as "the Inner Yoda".  Keep the Faith.  Use the FORCE.  There is no try, DO or DO NOT.
