Hi- the letters are script, all caps. They are about 1 1/4" big. The individual pill box openings are about 1 3/4" so they fit nicely and are easy to take in and out. Helda

Can u tell me approximately how big they are?  I have a picture in my head of 1/8" letters. Are they lowercase?  Do u remember the cost?  Thank you, I appreciate any answers before I go to every DollarTree in Tampa.

Which dollar store did you find the letters? Is it a chain, like Dollar Tree, or just local?

Hey folks---- just thought I'd pass along a great Dollar Store project.  I had been thinking about the moveable alphabet and thinking about how to make it work with our space issues. Then I came upon a set of script of wooden letters at the dollar store. It had multiples of each letter. They are the right size to fit in the comparments of the two week pill dispensers they also have. I bought two sets of those. I took off the individual case tops and epoxied the two boxes together. I painted the letters the appropriate the colors. Et Voila! A space and budget friendly moveable alphabet. Added bonus....it's very portable. So it really came in handy this weekend. Hope this helps someone else.

Helda
