We connect nice people that have things they wish to offer with other nice people who would like to have those things. Through a simple e-mail list, any member of the community can post a note about an item they'd like to give away, or an item they are seeking. The main rule: Every item posted must be free.

SOME TIPS
In the subject line of your e-mail to the group, please use the following examples for offering or requesting goods:

OFFER: item name (city location)
TAKEN: old couch(use when someone wants it and hasn't picked it up yet)
WANTED: item name (city location)[Please use this one sparingly]
RECEIVED: item name (city location)

NO TRADING/SELLING: Please keep the free in freecycle(TM)
NO POLITICS, NO SPAM.
