Welcome.

Based in Monmouth County, New Jersey, the Monmouth Creative Writers Group was formed to provide help, encouragement and support to fellow authors.

Whether you’re a complete novice, or a seasoned professional, this is the place to meet like-minded people.

We have monthly meetings at two venues, Manalapan Library (HQ) and Colts Neck Library. Check out the calender for meeting dates, or visit our website: www.monmouthwriters.com.

Think of our message board as the group's online water-cooler. Feel free to join in at any time, but please, no religion, no politics, no foul language, and most important of all, try to avoid the subject of outlines :-)

The 2008 Compendium of Short Works (the latest anthology from the Monmouth Creative Writers' Group - pictured), is available at both Monmouth County Library(HQ) and Colt's Neck library.
