Shane White, comic artist mastermind, writer, and all around genius, is interviewed at APE, by Allen Freeman, who also shot and edited the video. Shane created 2 fantastic graphic novels for NBM publishing (North Country was his first).  His latest book is called Things Untold, which is about his life working as a graphic artists for a gaming company in Redmond, WA. And about his crazy relationships at that time. Oh, and did we mention he is slowly turning into a zombie? Fan-Atic Press put out Noble Head Funnies #1 by Ed Bolman a short while back. It was a funny 28 page-mini comic with color covers (colored by Brad W. Foster). It was such a huge hit that Ed has created 3 more issues! So issues #2, #3 and #4 will be out probably before the end of this year. Each book sells for $2.50 because they are worth it. These crazy, wacky, comics are creations that only the mind of Ed could produce, but he did have some help from his son on these. I'm thinking about going, now that my finances are gradually getting back into
shape.  It's the same weekend as SPACE and cutting out airfare to that helps,
although it would be a blast again.  It was great seeing old former UFO members
there from the 80s.  I greatly miss the vibe of Stumptown, so maybe I'll be
there with table space next year!  - W
