Description

Mom's Milk Anywhere is a support organization dedicated to helping mothers become confident and comfortable while nursing in public. We host public gatherings where moms can breastfeed in a safe, supportive atmosphere. In addition, some of us act as ambassadors of breastfeeding in other ways, joining nurse-ins, supporting government efforts to promote and protect breastfeeding, encouraging local businesses to welcome breastfeeding mothers (both as employees and customers), and responding to media reports about breastfeeding. If you're anxious about nursing in public, than you belong with MomMA. If you want to help moms overcome their anxiety about nursing in public, you belong here, too.

This email list is a moderated, announcement-only list for those who want to keep abreast of MomMA events and general breastfeeding news. Expect no more than one or two emails from this list per week. If you have a news story or other information you would like to pass along to the group, please write to MomMA. For free-wheeling discussion of breastfeeding advocacy issues and MomMA business, subscribe to the MomMA Discussion list.
