This list is, for many of our members, one of the few "adult socialization" opportunities that they have in their busy days of educating children. If you are seeking a "strictly homeschool-related list" - perhaps you need to consider whether or not this is truly the group for you BEFORE you subscribe, rather than joining and then later complaining about us going off topic.

There aren't too many rules here, just a few... I don't generally like being attacked by my friends, and I don't think anyone else does either. This is a place for support and fun. Good natured arguments aren't a big deal... but attacking someone makes it not any fun to be here anymore, so please be nice. Please refrain from using foul language or anything of that nature. These type of posts will lead to moderation of your future posts. We never know if a child is standing close by reading some of these posts. Regarding posting links, feel free to do so! I like to both share links I find interesting and have them shared with me. But joining the list for the sole reason of promoting your product is SPAM. And spam is strictly prohibited on this list. Spammers will, in fact, be removed immediately. Upon joining you will receive an email asking you to tell a little about yourself. Please know that upon joining you will be put on moderation. This is only a protection to the group and once you are there you will appreciate that too.
