This list is aimed at knitters who are interested in the various types of modular and multi-directional knitting (domino knitting, entrelac,log cabin) -- essentially knitting that moves in a direction other than the traditional bottom to top, top to bottom, or side to side.

Also part of the mandate of the list is to expand their knowledge of more advanced techniques that may form the basis of some of these types of modular and multi-directional forms.

It's not a list for beginning knitters -- members should have some knowledge of how knitting "works", or should be looking to expand their knitting knowledge in new directions.

The intention is to explore various forms of modular knitting, and share tips, techniques, and technical information.
