Welcome to The Modesto Area Freecycle™ Network, where your trash really is someone else's treasure!

Don't throw it away, RECYCLE it! Modesto Freecycle is a place to connect people who have stuff to get rid of with people who could use it - furniture, appliances, clothing, electronics, household and baby items - just about ANYTHING can be given away!

FREECYCLE ETIQUETTE

1) NO POLITICS. NO SPAM. NO PREACHING. One strike and you're out.

2) When you post, keep your subject to one of 4 phrases. Example:
OFFER: couch
TAKEN: couch
WANTED: couch
RECEIVED: couch

* Excessive wanted posts and "sob stories" will be deleted.

3) KEEP IT FREE, LEGAL APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES. No alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or drugs - legal, prescription, or OTC.

4) RESPONSES GO ONLY TO OFFERER. It keeps down the # of e-mails (Too many e-mails? Select "daily digest" from the "edit my membership" link on the main page.)
