This Yahoo Group is for the volunteers of the Community Empowerment Collective. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the Collective please see our the web site at http://www.scn.org/cmp/ This collective was designed to produce training material on the Community Empowerment web site, and to support and distribute the information to Community Workers and their trainers. If you are a volunteer of the Community Empowerment Collective your request for membership of this discussion group will be approved. Volunteers write new material, translate it, make power point presentations and other computer work, produce illustrations and coordinate the process.

We translate training material through the contribution of volunteers. It is not machine or computer translated. We recommend using Cat's Cradle to assist in the translation.

This Collective's aim is to promote Community Empowerment; and to develop and produce training material for Community Mobilizers for free, if possible, at cost when necessary.

The Collective also provides one-on-one guidance when requested by members of target communities.

The Community Empowerment Collective maintains a website devoted to the distribution of accessible training material as a means of accomplishing the above goals.
