MNHS is an open forum for the discussion of issues
related to home schooling/ unschooling in Minnesota. The topics
discussed will range widely, but can include any considered and
considerate discussion of any of the following, with an emphasis on
building a supportive homeschooling community spirit in MN:

- Local Real-Life (RL) support groups, activities, events etc.
- Reasons for homeschooling/unschooling.
- Legal/legislative climate for HS in MN.
- How to help a child learn skills or subjects.
- Philosophical discussions about learning.
- Pros and cons of various learning materials, unit
studies, etc.
- How to design your own, or choose among homeschool
curriculums, unit studies, etc.
- Practical discussions about family projects, hobbies,
and outings.

Issues not directly related to homeshooling, but of interest might
include:
- Parenting issues.
- Non-religious and non-political philosophical discussions
- Social banter.
- Pure fluff.
