This is Mississippi Mills' (ON Canada - Almonte, Appleton, Blakeney, Clayton, Pakenham, Ramsay Township) Yahoo group as part of the Freecycle(TM) Network (www.freecycle.org) initiative.

This is designed to allow "reuse-recycle" of those things that are no longer used, but too good to throw out. Whether it's furniture, appliances, office stuff, building materials, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself - just ask!

The goal: To find a good home for things that are otherwise headed for the landfill, and let everyone have a chance to make real impact!

One constraint: Everything posted MUST be free! NO trades; NO bartering; NO money!!!

NOTE: Rebound in the Almonte area is now open. They take donations of large household articles that they resell inexpensively. The goal is to divert waste from the landfill.
