Description

Modifications to 7x10/12 Mini Lathes and 9x20 lathes are documented here along with articles from old ME magazines to give you ideas on ways to modify or improve you lathe..
Illustrations and comentary on fitting the CamLok2 tailstock mod and centering mod are in the CamLok2 folder. Preliminary work on the dual function lever action tail stock is in the LeverRam2 folder.
Mods done to the 9x20 are in the 9x20 folder in photos
A picture from Richard to show what he has been working on. I think applause is in order and this one deserves to be published in a magazine for sure.
Richard has finished the article on his gearbox and the full text and drawing package is in the files for those who wish to improve and upgrade their machines. This has got to be one of the top improvment mods to come along for the 7x machines.
Added pictures of this gearbox project are in the photo albums as are pictures of a very well done lever actuated tail stock by Ralph E. Patterson
I have also place the pictures Of richards speed reduction unit in the photos.
