This groups goal is to try to collect scans and information from as many of the imprimaturs that are missing from the sheets of imprimaturs located within the collection of the post office of Great Britain, specifically narrowed down to Line Engraved Items. Also a database of these missing imprimatur scans will be maintained online. The group will try to determine if a scan of an actual stamp is one of these two: 1, an actual imprimatur that is missing from the imprimatur sheets, or 2, a scan of a used stamp that shows all the characteristics of the missing imprimatur, but is not the actual imprimatur. All are welcome!
