The University of Kansas Master of arts in International Studies Organization (MISO) exists to provide graduate students with an opportunity to create a network amongst their peers and enhance their understanding of and development within the International Studies field. The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for internationally focused graduate students to make social and professional contacts and to reach out to the international community of Greater Kansas City, Lawrence and beyond. MISO events include, Mayor's UN Dinner, MISO and the Military, Thesis Night, Me So Thirsty Thursday, International Show and Tell, International Groove Night, and our annual Graduation and Recognition Dinner. Through these scheduled events and community service projects, we hope to foster relationships vital to the academic, personal, and professional success of our members.
