Nice to hear from you, Dennis. I have owned Mini Nimbus C model #96 since
1991. I have a two-seat Schleicher K21 as well, but the "Mini" is my first
and only love! I live in Oxfordshire, UK, and like you I mostly fly in
thermals over countryside that must be almost as flat as Florida. Quite
often, though, I take the glider to Scotland to fly over the mountains. One
memorable flight is recorded on the web site of the Cairngorm Gliding Club
at www.gliding.org ~ just click the "Adventures" page.
Regards from Phil Hawkins.

Hello Everyone, I have owned Mini Nimbus B #62 since 2008 and I am having a
ball with it.
We have a group within our club that are doing a bit of cross country in
Central Florida.

My Mini has pretty bad crazing on the gelcote , but it still seems to scoot
along as well as, or better than the STD Cirrus, Jantar, Vega and Phoebus
that I regularly fly with...
