This group is for military model engineering. The target subject is discussion of the techinques, problems and solutions of technical problems of design, creation and construction of military models made of machined or otherwise fabricated of metals. Machining, foundry, metal forming as well as CAD, foundry pattern considerations and other related topics are suitable subjects for discussion. This forum is an extension of the Armor Group West website. Generally plastic model issues are covered best on other forums however issues of engineered component design of any scale are welcome. It is the intent that this forum be the solely for the discussion of construction issues which are part of advanced model contruction primarily for tracked vehicle models such as transmission design and construction; powerplant selection, construction techniques and related matters but is not limited to such vehicles or in any particular scale.
