The "Millennial Generation" -- also known as Generation Y or Bridgers, among other names -- are those who will graduate from high school in the first decade of the new millennium (you can find one detailed description of some characteristics of this generation at The Generations Page). Millennial Ministry (or, appropriately enough, MM) is a group for people interested in ministry with this generation.
-- We are especially interested in innovative models and practices of ministry designed with Millennials in mind, and in welcoming a wide diversity of theological perspectives. God's family has no poor cousins, so we strive to welcome all members of all denominations (or of nondenominational churches) equally, whether they identify as "conservative," "liberal," "evangelical," "progressive," "traditionalist," any of the other labels we tend to use or no labels at all.
-- We're here to share questions, ideas, struggles, resources, and experiences with each other in an atmosphere of respect. We aim to treat each other (and everyone else) with the same love, patience, and forgiveness Christ has shown to us.
-- We're committed to seek and serve Christ in all persons, including each other, and we're more interested in learning from and supporting each other than in criticizing or judging.
