This mailing list is dedicated to the discussion of MILITARY HELMETS of the 20th and 21st century, encompassing all helmets of all nations, from the introduction of the modern steel helmet in World War 1 to the helmets of today and tomorrow.

This is very much a participatory group – no question is too simple or small, no on-topic posting too long. And it is one of a very few places on the web or elsewhere where you’ll meet people whose primary militaria interest is specifically helmets of all nations.

The membership includes a number of Big Names in helmet-collecting, as well as many less known but no less enthusiastic collectors and commentators. It’s likely that no matter how obscure your query may be we can answer it – or find someone who can.

We have a Photo section which regularly includes unusual helmets or helmets needing proper identification, and a Resources section which will help you towards finding essential books and websites.
