Rocky Mountain Kite Association is an Affiliated Club of the American Kitefliers Association, We meet at Clement Park in Littleton, Sandstone Ranch Park near Longmont, at Stapleton's Central Park in Denver (former location of the Airport),Washington Park in Denver, Robbie Feruffino Park in Arvada, Margaret Carpenter Rec. Center park in Thornton, Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins,Monument Park in Colorado Springs,and Anywhere in the Front Range of Colorado.

Where can we meet YOU at to fly kites?

Meet other local Kiters, whether they be Kiteboarding Enthusiasts,(i.e; Buggies, Land boards,Snow, or Water) Quad or REVOLUTION fliers, Sport Kiters, Indoor Kiters, Giant kite teams, Fighter kiters (as seen in the movie, "THE KITE RUNNER", like me :) ) and especially All Aspects of Singleline Traditional Kite Flying! Just Stake it Down or Tie it to a tree! Relax!Chill!

There is also the Original RMKA Kiteboarders Yahoo group at this link;
http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/RMKA. That is where the Rocky Mountain Kiteboarding Association began. We do not have access to that group's controls but some of us are members of that RMKA site as well as this one.

We began as a Meetup.com kiteboarding site. Seeing a need for a consistent contact point for Kite enthusiasts of all types of Kite Flying, Robin paid the Meetup.com subscription fee as organizer to save the Rocky Mountain Kiteboarding Association's Meetup website.

This is still an effort to plan kiteboarding events and/or ways to maintain local kiteboarding spots as an emphasis, if the boarders wish to help.We need more participation from Kite Boarders. Please help us out!

Travel, learn, ride, and get your stoke on.
