Bill, You may have misunderstood Ernesto's reply re toe-in. The squeek is not caused by toe-in. You need to "toe the pads in" slightly to get rid of the squeek...

Bill -- You misunderstand. You're supposed to have toe-in. That is, the pads should hit with the leading edge first (ie., the end in the direction of travel)...
