A contact group for Australians (and New Zealanders!) who find themselves living in the Mid West USA (mostly IA, IL, IN, MI, MO, WI) - group owner lives in Chicago (well, actually Naperville, but that's close).

The group has been created for the purpose of facilitating the organisation of social events and other regional news in the greater Chicago and neighbouring areas. It has not been created to necessarily be a "high volume" e-mail list and is mainly to let people know about Aussie BBQs, get-togethers or Aussie musical acts in the area. Members of this list are only visible to the list owner, for those concerned about privacy issues with their e-mail address.
