The purpose of Midwest Dharma is to provide announcements about the classes, seminars, pravachanas (spiritual talks), and satsangha schedules of Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya (Dr. Frank Morales, Ph.D.) for the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas.

With a Ph.D. in Religious Studies, and over 35 years of personal spiritual practice and study, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya is widely recognized as one of the nation's leading authorities on Yoga spirituality, meditation, Dharma, self-realization, and Hinduism. He is a Dharma Master, and a self-realized sage. His students in both the orthodox Indian Hindu community and the non-Indian Hindu and Dharma community number in the thousands.

Previous to founding the Center for Dharma Studies, Sri Acharyaji was the Resident Acharya of the Hindu Temple of Nebraska for two years - the first time in American history that a non-Indian has been appointed to such a highly prestigious religious post.
