This group is created to provide homeschoolers/home educators who are not affiliated with any particular religious group a resource/discussion list to connect and provide educational opportunities for their children.

Please use this list to discuss, brainstorm, announce classes or field trips. This is an open list ~ feel free to haggle, barter, sell your stuff or skills, find friends for your kids or yourself, reconnect, create and announce various kinds of educational options.

This list isn't the place to argue beliefs, creeds, politics, religious ideals, homeschooling or parenting styles ~ This is a family gathering place for people who are facilitating an education for their children in their homes.

And for clarity ;): Secular really means secular ~ we are mostly unbelievers and there will be an occasional discussion or epithet that could be offensive to the religious.

We are open and inclusive ... but only to the point where our members
feel secure and safe. Trolls, detractors, provocateurs and those who
don't have the best interest of the group at heart will be swiftly
skedaddled.

The MOSH group was not intended as an informational site,
but formed as a community. HECLC will continue to be the best
