Great meeting tonight. We had 14 people attend. We first learn a lot about the
East Coast Paddlers Club. This sounds like a cool group. All skill levels
welcome and they are very active with monthly meetings and many planned trips
(daytrips and multiday camping options) along with pool session in the winter
where you can practice techniques and the annual kayak rodeo in June where you
can try out many different boats and generally have a good time. Their website
is at www.eastcoastpaddlers.com.
Next we were treated to a presentation on Photography by Canoe/Kayak. The
presentation containing tips, suggested river and routes, and many awesome
wildlife photos by Chris Hamilton including the money shot: a BOBCAT up close
and personal! Frickin' awesome!
