For those who worked, visited or have an interest in the former holiday camp latterly known as Pontins near Heysham, Lancashire, which opened in August 1939 and closed in October 1994. Anyone with any stories, pictures etc. from the 55 year history of the camp are welcome. The grounds of Middleton Tower are now being redeveloped into the UK’s largest retirement village. There are four groups in the consist, charting the camps history from its opening to its current redevelopment.
All the groups are message and new member moderated, to combat the problem of spam. The links to all four groups are in the welcome message when you joined.
