Description

MARCH is a non-profit computer user group. Our focus is the 1940s to 1980s. Our members generally live in the scalene triangle between Hartford, Pittsburgh, and Washington, but anyone can join. We operate a bricks-and-mortar computer museum in Wall, N.J. at a former Marconi lab / Army Signal Corps base that is now the InfoAge Science Center (map) and which has a rich history in computer development. We host the annual Vintage Computer Festival East.

The group was formed in fall 2004 by Evan Koblentz, who is club president, and Andy Meyer, who is a vice-president. Our mission is to collect and preserve vintage computers; to educate and inspire; and to have fun!!! We strive to restore vintage computers to working condition as much as possible. There are not organized meetings or a printed newsletter -- our communications and updates are via the message board in this Yahoo group. However we often gather for exhibits, parties, tech days, swap meets, etc.

After signing up for our group, you can add your profile, post items for sale, and RSVP to events.

Note: MARCH does not have dues. We prefer the shareware analogy: we're cost-free, but if you like what we do, then please help with our continued fundraising. Our recommended donation is $20 per year, although we're grateful for every penny. Click here to contribute..

Re: 82S141 PROMs
Mike, I've encountered burned bi-polar PROMs sold as "new" only once, and the seller refunded my money, so it wasn't a big problem. arcadechips.com has

Re: 82S141 PROMs
... That's pretty rare; these guys usually know about OTP devices. Unicorn will probably swap them out. -Dave -- Dave McGuire, AK4HZ New Kensington, PA
