Welcome Micro Heli fans.

1985 marked a significant starting point to what we currently know as Micro Helis, with MIA's Rubber Powered Kits and Tiny Helicopter Plans sold worldwide through the 80s and 90's.

Mid to Late 90's RC Slow-Flight is born with the miniaturization of RC components, MIA's Mee-Kro 280, and Robin 280 prototypes along with other experimental light weight and miniature helis, from others around the world, start the electric RC Micro Heli Revolution.

The year 1998 marked the beginning of the commercial RC Electric "Micro Heli" era, with a 4-ounce 20 inch rotor Radio Controlled or Infra Red (RC-IR). Almost-ready-to-fly (ARF) helicopter called the MIA Sport LE, sold worldwide same year. Year 1999 and 2000, MIA's Robin 280 and 300 RC models followed by Ikarus' Piccolo and MS Hornet make headlines.
In 2001 MIA's House FLY 'sub-micro' series is born with an internet Do-it-Yourself version, followed by the world's smallest and lightest 4 ounce commercial RC heli kit, at the time, the MIA House FLY model H-300.
In 2002 MIA introduces other Sub-Micros helis,to the hobby market, the Bumble Bee and MIA Palm-Size (TM) experimental RC helis, world's smallest full function RC/IR helis.
