This list was created in order to give Michigan residents and others interested in Michigan experimental events a forum for discussion, information, and interaction. This will include announcement and planning of events across the state which fit into the broad category of "Experimental" music, i.e. improvised, jazz, electronic, experimental, modern classical or other music that is of a generally interesting nature. Regular postings of current events, news of releases, discussion of ideas, and general propagation of a community here in Michigan and how it relates to the larger worldwide free/improvised music community will be encouraged.
