Description
This group is the District 2 group of the Michigan section of the ARRL ARPSC program. ARPSC stands for Amateur Radio Public Service Corps and includes Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES(R)), Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), and the National Traffic System (NTS). Any Amateur Radio Operator is welcome to join. The group is operated by John Fleming, K8UP, District Emergency Coordinator for District 2 Michigan. District 2 includes the following Counties in Michigan: St. Clair, Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw and Monroe.
Michigan Section ARES(R) is a program of the American Radio Relay League, and ARES(R) is a registered trademark of the ARRL. Both the ARRL diamond and the ARES(R) logo are registered trademarks of the ARRL.
