This Tuesday, October12, will be our first swing dance party.  We NEED your
support! If you don't come out to dance, there won't be one to come to at all.
It should be a great atmosphere with a good mix of newer and more experienced

the dance. We're going to have a drawing for Love n' Dancing DVD on this first

Some additional information for the dance!

The dance lesson is at 6:00 will be 45 minutes and the dance will start at 7:00
allowing the new dancers to practice a bit before the dance starts.

The cost is $5.00 for the lesson which also includes the cover charge. For the

Our east coast classes were very successful and we are moving on to other
dances.

During the month of January and up to Feb 1,, we will be teaching Salsa.  This
is a very popular and easy Latin dance.  Join us at 6 pm for an hour of Latin
rhythms and some fun patterns.

We will start West Coast I on February 8th.

Both classes are for beginners and those with some experience.  West coast has
changed in recent years so it's good to brush up on the basics.  It is
recommended that you attend with a partner although singles are welcome.

The classes are taught by Bob and Beverly Budzynski, who have won many awards
and are very experienced teachers.

The Jewel is a fun place to learn and there is a restaurant and a bar to
enjoy before or after your lesson.

Cost is $5.00 a person for the lesson and the dance and  $3.00 a person for the
dance only which runs from 7 - 10pm.

Our first salsa class was great!  We will be reviewing the basics so it's not
too late to attend this Tuesday at 6 pm.  At 7, we will have a dance party and
you can practice your new steps and enjoy swing, hustle and some ballroom music.

Lessons are $5.00 per person which includes the dancing afterwards and $3.00 per
person for the dance only.

The Jewel has a full menu so if you're pressed for time, join many of us who eat
at 7pm.  There is also a drink menu.

The wooden floor is great for dancing and it is a very friendly ambience.

Each year we take a group to Myrtle Beach for a golf and dance vacation. We try
to take and limit it to 32 golfers. Non-golfers are most welcome. It's golf in
the day and dancing in the evening. e always come home to rest after our
vacation. M B is very BIG in the Carolina's but we invade their clubs and do
WCS. Through the years we've bee attending, many friends have been made and now
we are most welcome to share the floor with the Shaggers. World famous Shag
places like "Fat Harold's" "Ducks" and "O.D." recognize us when we go there.

The music will be appropriate for all levels and will include ballroom, swing

We will begin a series of lessons on the hustle flash mob beginning Tuesday, May
17, at the Jewel, 5270 Perry Rd. Grand Blanc, MI at 6 pm.  Cost for the lesson
is $5.00 which includes the dance party which runs from 7 to 10 pm. To attend
the dance party only, is $3.00.

All kinds of flash mobs have been sweeping the world since last year with no end
in sight!  Many of you learned the west coast flash mob which will be featured
at the Back to Bricks festival in August in Flint, MI. These lessons will help
you keep up on what's happening in the dance world.

You do NOT have to know how to Hustle to do this Flash Mob. We will teach it so
that all you new dancers as well as the more experienced ones will be able to
learn it. We will also provide a step sheet for you to practice with.

What is hustle dancing?  It's a very fast dance done with walking steps only -
no triples.  We consider it to be a cousin to swing dancing.  If you like swing
dancing, you'll like the Hustle!

Hello Dancers,

We are beginning a new series of hustle dance lessons featuring the
count and 1,2,3.  We love the Detroit Hustle but many places this is
the style so we want our dancers to be able to go anywhere and dance.
The hustle is a cousin to swing dancing featuring only walking steps (no
triples).  It is done to contemporary music that is played on cruises, at
weddings, etc.

The lessons are at the Jewel at 5270  Perry Road, Grand Blanc beginning at 6 pm.
Cost is only $5.00 per person and for an additional $3.00 dancers are encouraged
to stay and practice at the dance party that follows from 7 - 10 pm. We will be
teaching the Hustle the entire school year unless the dancers learn it sooner
than expected.

If you want to attend only the dance party, the cost is only $3.00.

Hello Dancers,

We're having a very special party this Friday!  Our dear friend,
Joyce Stoughton, is visiting in Michigan and she's coming to our
house to give you a free hustle lesson.

She is a Michigan hustle champion and a United States Hustle champion so
it will be a good lesson for beginners as well as more advanced students.

The party is a potluck and starts at 6 pm.  Admission for our club members
is a dish to pass.  We need side dishes to go with our baked spaghetti.  We
will also provide dessert and soft drinks.  BYO for special beverages.

Join us for a terrific time up in Harbor Springs this Memorial Weekend.(May 25 -
27)  It all starts on Friday evening with a workshop by Bob & Beverly Budzynski
on West Coast Swing. It is followed by a casual dance with plenty of goodies
supplied by several of the attendees. (you can bring something as well)

Saturday starts out with a fabulous breakfast of everything imaginable followed
by two workshops. Candace McKenzie and Glenn Clark with Blair Miller will be
instructing and it will be teachers choice. Saturday afternoon will feature
Clare Freeman, certified instructor, conducting a Yoga class. You can also go to
the Casino, shopping sight seeing, etc. There is also a golf scramble going on
as well so you have choices.

Saturday evening will have a wonderful dinner followed by a more formal dance
(dress to impress) with a few exhibitions to keep you entertained.

Sunday, we repeat the morning ritual with breakfast and two more workshops.
Sunday afternoon, you are on your own.
