contest, dinner and social dance to be held this Saturday, March 25 at
the Woodfield Country Club, Grand Blanc Mi.  The cost is $39.00 a

The Michigan Society for Swing and Hustle Dancers will hold it's
monthly dance party at Davison Country Club this Sunday, April 9.
To reach the Club from I-69, exit at M-15 and go south to the first
light.  Turn right onto Lippincott Blvd and then turn left in the
first driveway.  From the Detroit area, travel north on I-75 and exit
at the M-15 exit.  Turn left on Lippincott Blvd and then left at the
driveway.

A free lesson featuring nightclub two step will be taught at 3pm and
the dance will be from 4pm to 7pm.

The Flint Downtown Optimists Club will host a dinner/dance on April 8,

Dear Dancers,

We are holding our 4th annual Petoskey Party for dancers May 26-28 at
the Terrace Inn, Petoskey, MI.  This is a quaint Victorian hotel.
Each year we have been sold out and this year is no exception.

However, we have just heard from two couples who are forced to
cancel.  If interested, please read the following.

The weekend package is $240.00 a couple and includes - hotel room for
Fri and Sat night, breakfast for Fri and Sat and dinner Saturday
evening.  In addition, there is a Fri night dance party with a dessert
extravaganza and a Saturday night dance party.  Dance workshops will
be taught by Bob and Beverly Budzynski(west coast swing) and Tom
DesJardin and Lisa Leino(east coast swing and foxtrot) on Sat and Sun
mornings.  Golf is an extra charge and about 30 golfers will play on
Sat afternoon.  Others will shop or relax.

On June 4th, Tera Gehring, our Mid U. S. Jack and Jill champion, will
teach 3 workshops and host a swing dance party.

The workshop schedule is:

$15.00 for one workshop, $25.00 for two and $35.00 for all.

4 - 9 pm  Swing dance party.

Beverly Budzynski starting June 15 and will run for seven weeks.  The

The best in the midwest gathered at the Soaring Eagle Hotel and
Casino in Mt. Pleasant, MI for the 9th Annual Michigan Dance Classic
held August 18-20, 2000.

A sold out crowd watched swing and hustle dancers compete for over
$5,000.00 in cash, trophies and jackets.

The event was hosted by Bob and Beverly Budzynski.  Our next
competition will be the Mid-United States Jack and Jill to be held

to Walli's Supper Club, Pierson Rd., Flint, MI.   To reach Walli's,
get off at I-75 and go east.  It's on the north side of Pierson

In addition, Ken and Gloria Walli are club members and have been very
accomodating to us.  They will be offering a light fare menu or
dancers may order from their regular menu.

teaching two west coast swing amalgamations(intermediate level).  The

It's time to Boo-gie at our first annual Halloween dance party to be
held Saturday, October 28, 2000 at Walli's Supper Club in Flint, MI.
The party will start at 7:00 p.m. and end at 11 p.m. or later.

It will be more fun if lots of dancers come in costume and we will
hold a costume contest to determine the best effort.  Please don't
stay home if you don't have a costume; come and dance and cheer for
your favorites in the costume contest.

In addition, we will have a pumpkin contest.  Please bring a carved
pumpkin and we will award a prize for the best pumpkin!

Walli's has offered our dancers a $4.00 discount on their famous
dinner buffet that evening.  If you'd like dinner out before the
party, take advantage of this generous offer.  You will need to show
your member card to the restaurant.

This is a dance party for all levels of dancer.  If you're beginner,
