This group is for Oregon homeschoolers who educate their children in a more structured, methodical manner. It is a supportive place for those using curriculum, schedules, educational theories and other such methods in their homeschool. You are a methodical homeschooler if your homeschool is classically-inspired, for example, and you use ideas from books like The Well Trained Mind. Or maybe you try to follow the Charlotte Mason method of homeschooling. Or perhaps you use one, or a combination of, the numerous packaged homeschool curricula available. Whatever "method" is behind your madness, this list is for you! :-)

It is important to know that our members do not take an unschooling or extremely relaxed approach to homeschooling, nor are they inflexibly tied to a schedule or a particular curriculum.

This is a participatory list. Please don't join expecting to lurk 100% of the time. Even the newest, most inexperienced homeschooler has something to contribute, even if it is just a question on how to get started.

We will share ideas, information, links and virtual hugs as we attempt to apply some method to the madness of homeschooling. Welcome!
