From Commander Solberg (via ANC Commissioner Tim Clark) last night:
It appears to be a robbery involving three suspects. A shot was fired at the victim, and he was grazed but thankfully not seriously injured. It happened at 3rd and T Sts. about 6:15.
We have not made any arrests.

I'm confused about the location of the shooting/robbery. At 6:20 or so, I (and my daughters in the bike trailer) came upon the 4 cop cars, ambulance, and victim were are a spot on the MBT about 100 yards north of the NY Ave underpass -- a straight portion before it turns to the left (when heading north) to the R Street access point.
That's pretty far from 3rd and T, and 3rd and T is also a good block and a half from the MBT.
Where exactly
did it happen? Also, was the victim on bike or a pedestrian (it is horrible regardless---but the details of what happened can help us attempt to take precautions)?

How can we get a camera under the street light on the corner? They have them in several areas and with so much crime particularly on this corner... It's scary! Normally I would have been out on the trail with my 5 children at this time! Cristina
