The Mega Society is a high-IQ society which attempts to select members at the one-in-a-million level, recognizing that this is difficult, given the limitations of existing tests. The society was founded in 1982 by Ronald K. Hoeflin. Current membership is approximately 20. The Society publishes an interesting but infrequent journal, *Noesis*.
