Mattos Yahoo! Group is a resource for teachers, staff, and parents/guardians of students at John G. Mattos Elementary School to promote, discuss and share ideas and information in an effort to build a strong community spirit by concern for all children that we serve. All members are welcome and encouraged to share information related to John G. Mattos School. This Yahoo! Group is maintained and moderated by parents of Mattos Students. Parent volunteers and teachers come together to make a difference in the classroom, in the lives of our children and in the community. We accomplish this through school involvement, fundraising, volunteering, building family relationships and providing more resources for our children.

To better serve the communication process, please keep content "KINDHEARTED", "SUPPORTIVE", & "POSITIVE" to help come up with solutions and dissolve potential difficulties. We are all concerned parent volunteers or teachers that care about our/all children. Please be sensitive to confidential information and keep it private! If you have specific issues needing to be resolved please submit it directly thru the proper channels and not through this group. If you should require further discussion with someone on this group, please take it offline with them directly. If you feel need to make the group aware of an issue, please do it in a positive way or with proactive solutions.
