My brother and I are small Jack Russells. We thought we had a forever home. However, one night,our owner put us in the car and drove for a long time before stopping. I thought we were going somewhere for some fun. When we stopped, we were taken out of the car into some woods next to the highway. Our owner returned to the car and drove away. We waited and waited for his return. We waited during the rain and cold. We were there for days and days. We were very hungary. After about a week a very nice lady stopped. I was afraid and ran into the woods. My brother, always the braver sort, stayed there. The nice lady made friends with my brother so I finally decided to come out of the woods to join my brother. This nice lady took us home and fed us. We were very thin. You could count our ribs. She took us to the vet for a checkup. She paid for our vaccinations, treatment for my mange and spaying and neutering for the both of us. In the 3 weeks we have been with her we have gained 3-4 lbs. The nice lady then drove us to Maryland to stay with this really nice man who started feeding us RAW MEAT. Talk about a treat! We have never had raw meat before. This very nice man is trying to find us a forever home because he now has too many dogs to keep us. That is OK though. If he can find people as nice as he is or the nice lady that found us, my brother and I would have no trouble going there. My brother and I do everything together: sleep, eat, play, run. I really love my brother and would be very unhappy if we had to be separated. We both like cats OK. My brother and I are small so we wouldn't take up much room. We would LOVE to sleep with you at night if you would let us. Sitting on your lap is a favorite too. We are very affectionate and love to be be loved. BTW, we also know to wait until we are let outside to pee and poop. Please help us.
