What is the one thing that can truly bring us to a place were we don’t want to be when we are depressed and alone? What can be the cause that we do things in hast and regret it later? Without hesitation I can say our thoughts. When we are in a place emotionally that we don’t want to be, our thoughts are right there with us to make matters even worse . Guess who is behind all these thoughts?……Satan … and he enjoys every minute of it when you sit and think about all the bad things going on in your life .
There are so many situations daily that make us think , but is what you’re thinking bringing destruction to you or are you glorifying God?
2Co 11:3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning , your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

One thing you must always remember is that satan will use your weakness to his advantage, for example… you have grown up with rejection and your whole life people have pushed you away, but then you find love and all is going well. One day when you open your eyes that person also ended your relationship. What is the first thing that goes through your mind ? That you don’t deserve to be loved, that you are worth nothing, you think that God does not love you and that He enjoys it when you get hurt. You think that this is how your life is supposed to be and you were a fool to think that you could also be happy. Does this sound familiar? Well you are not the first one satan has used this trick on . For centuries he has played on the minds of people , making them believe that they are nothing. Sad to say that he has succeeded so many times and people take their own lives believing that it was the only way out . They die sad and alone and will never know that satan lied to them. Are you in a place where you’re thinking ungodly things? It can be out of anger or because you are sad , it can even be that you are thinking lustfully. You and your spouse just had a fight and out of the blue you think that you wish your spouse were like the person at work and just there you start fantasising about that person . You think its innocent but satan knows that you have just committed adultery and that is why he will put even more thoughts in your head and before you know what hit you , you have an affair and your marriage is broken . We need to understand that there is power in our thoughts , when you think destructive things, destruction will come to you. When you keep thinking negative things about yourself that is how your life will turnout to be. We need to start guarding our thoughts, if something negative comes into your mind you must turn it around into positive. I know that is not easy but you need to “un-train “ your mind to think bad things. You have to reprogram your mind to start thinking positively . The easiest is to take a bible verse and replace it with the negative thought , for example…Nobody loves me, I don’t deserve to be loved . Replace that with…Joh 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. or I deserve nothing, replace it with Mat 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Our thoughts can be our downfall or it can get us through anything . A positive person can get far and a negative person brings misery to himself.

Start fighting back and take control of the mind God gave you and use it for His glory. Satan has only a right in your life and thoughts if you allow him to be. The sooner you take authority the sooner you will start seeing a difference in your life .

Father God, I ask in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ that you will please make every person reading this aware when they start thinking negatively . Father I ask that You will please fill there minds with Your knowledge and wisdom and that they will think Godly things . Father I ask that You will please be with all Your children and guide them . I ask it in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ
